Hike with alpacas in the Monschauer Land

Alpaca hike
What all tours include:
Our hiking groups include up to 6 alpacas. This results in a maximum of 12 participants.
A free welcome drink, coffee, water, etc. will pass the time until the group is complete.
Detailed explanations about the alpaca in general. Origin, husbandry, breeding and everything you want to know about alpacas and we can answer.
Each participant (older than 12 years) receives an alpaca for a tour or goes with them as an accompanying person. A maximum of one accompanying person is allowed. If you want to come with several children under the age of 12, please contact us so that we can make an individual offer for you.
Familiarize yourself with the alpaca. How does an alpaca react to body movements and body contact? How do I lead an alpaca?
Halters of alpacas. We'll do the haltering.
A final round with free drinks.
You are welcome to take your own photos and videos.
Depending on the size of the group, one or two of our tour guides will go with you.

Tour offers
Tour "Alpakahof"
After putting the leash on the leash and giving the first instructions on how to lead the alpacas, we go on a varied round of approx. 1.5 km through meadows on paved paths. It goes up and down, but mostly flat. Sturdy shoes are definitely an advantage. Duration with everything around about 1 hour. This tour is intended as a "trial tour" or for seniors.

The tour is available Monday through Friday. Start is at 5:00 p.m.
Prices: 20 euros per alpaca guide
for the accompanying person 10 euros

Tour "forest and meadow"
After putting the leash on the leash and giving the first instructions on how to lead the alpacas, we go on a varied round of approx. 3-4 km, through woods and meadows, on partially unpaved paths. It goes up and down through the forest and sometimes a short stretch uphill. Hiking or trekking shoes are definitely an advantage. Duration with all the trimmings approx. 2 - 2.5 hours.

The tour is offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Start is at 10:00 a.m.
Prices: 35 euros per alpaca guide
for the accompanying person 15 euros

Our dates are not suitable for you? Do you have specific wishes for a tour with the alpacas? Would you like to go for half a day or have a picnic on the way? Or achieve a specific goal? Or are you a group? Talk to us, we can certainly arrange something.
