Rahmenberg

After weaving, the fabric was napped (mending of threads) and fulled (compressed and matted with water and a wooden pestle). The heavily shrunk fabric was then uncompressed again and tightly stretched across a frame to dry. Rahmenberg is one of the most interesting cultural and industrial monuments from time of the cloth makers.
