The starting point should be the observation platform in “Signal de Botrange”, High Fens, Belgium. After 2 kilometres, the Nature Conservation Centre in Botrange offers all information regarding the High Fens, also in D, NL and Fr. From here, the route is signposted and leads along the riverbanks of the Rur through the Monschau Old Town and the Rur Valley and up to Rur Lake, through Düren and Heinsberg. After approx. 180 km, the destination is Roermond in the Netherlands.

The 230 km long Eifel-Höhen Route is a diverse and athletically demanding circular tour. Breath-taking panoramic views over attractive and diverse landscapes reveal themselves at the peaks. The entrance onto the Eifel-Höhen Route is individually possible throughout.

Discover the Aachen city region on a more than 850 km long cycling route network that is marked with a user-friendly junction point system. The continuous numbering can be comfortably followed and individual routes can be easily compiled.

The well-developed and signposted cycling route network and the mixture of landscapes from the middle mountain region, Börde, to the river valleys and lakes represent ideal conditions for riding a bicycle.
Nevertheless, the middle mountain region of the Eifel also has a specific characteristic: Where it goes down, it will also go back up eventually. And this takes strength and energy. Quite new possibilities have arisen with the pedelec, a bicycle with peddling support. Thus, untrained cyclists can overcome the gradients of the Eifel with ease.

From the rental station you can get varied tour tips for your round tours through the district of the Monschauer Land. For the first time the modular three-wheeler is equiped with two independent pedal-drives. Pedaling and gear shift work indepentenly from each other.

The trimobile is also available with e-drive and can be driven by everybody after a short specialist introduction.
